Do you have a snake in your attic, basement, or crawlspace? The Critter Guy can help!

There are many kinds of snakes in our area, both harmless and venomous, but most people don’t want to get close enough to find out.  Maybe you only noticed some shed snake skin or saw what looked like a snake tail disappearing in some duct work. We can determine if the snake is still in your home or business and take steps to remove it. If you got a good look at the snake, try to remember the shape of its head and neck and the color and pattern of the skin on its sides. That helps us identify it and then we can give you a better idea of what is involved in removing the snake or snakes from the area.

We’ll gladly remove any nuisance snake from your home or property and you can rest easy knowing you don’t have to risk a bite from a venomous or non-venomous snake.

The Critter Guy usually uses non-lethal methods of snake removal, and we will relocate snakes at no extra charge. Because crazy as it sounds, we just love snakes.

a black snake

“Black snakes” – There are many different kinds of snakes that are commonly called a black snake.  King snakes, rat snakes, and black racers are the most common ones.  These snakes are fairly harmless but certainly not what most people want sharing a home with them.

a rattlesnake

Rattlesnakes – these are the guys that even most “do it yourself” types prefer to leave to the professionals.

The rattlesnake has a distinctive color pattern and the rattle on the end of his tail that lets you know just what you’re dealing with.  Unless provoked, these are fairly mild-mannered snakes. Give them some room and call the snake pro.

a copperhead

Copperheads are a very common (and poisonous) species of snake. They are especially dangerous because of their quiet nature and habit of blending into their surroundings. It can be very easy to get in harms way without even knowing it. There are a lot of other species that resemble a copperhead, but The Critter Guy can separate “friendly” from “unfriendly” and remove the offending snake.
