Decontamination
The Critter Guy handles many kinds of nuisance wildlife, and some of them are bad about leaving an awful mess after we kick them out. Although many problems only require a minimum level of cleaning, we sometimes end up with more involved situations. The Critter Guy can handle larger-scale biological toxic waste removal. We have the expertise, care, licensure, insurance, and equipment to safely handle major issues such as:
- Full clean-outs of contaminated insulation, raccoon latrines from raccoon infestations, and bat guano accumulations from attics
- Properly-done attic decontamination, sanitizing, and deodorization
- Re-insulation following up-to-date local building codes
During the process, we always take great care to ensure your safety. We use industry-specific protocols and special equipment to handle these types of waste safely and effectively.
If cost is an issue, we are happy to break up the process into steps. We prefer to bid the seal-out and clean-up stages separately so that you only pay for services you truly need, when you need them. There are many companies that like selling "magic insulation". Sometimes, they will bid a very expensive full insulation replacement for your attic, when all you really need is a spot clean.
